My wife and I just had another baby recently, so during the nine months of waiting I came up with several ideas for comics that involved pregnancy or childbirth. It’s not really difficult to bring these topics up in Ben & Winslow comics, because Winslow is notoriously freaked out by the idea.
This particular strip is one I’ve been sitting on for awhile, but I decided to draw it over again. I like layering more than one joke into these longer strips. Then I can end it–not with a punchline, but a one-two punchline. BAM! One of my goals was to have Winslow touch Ben’s entire head by the time he exits. Another goal was to convey a little more movement than my typical strips, which usually involve character standing around talking to each other.

Ah, gross. I absolutely hate it when people don't wash their hands. Not doing it after urinating isn't the worst thing ever, but not doing it after #2 is the worst thing ever. After the guy touched the tie guy's face, I wondered, "I bet he didn't wash up…. 
"
"But this is a funny comic. The simple style is funny and gets everthing across just fine with the cute little expressions.
But go wash your face, green tie man (Winslow?), and possibly go get caught up on your Hepatitis vaccinations. And have a doctor talk to your crazy friend.
