Pelican Cakes

Did you ever create fake ads when you were a kid? I did it all the damn time, filling up entire pages with such wonderful products as "Poop Loop Cereal" and "Heaps of Giraffe Meat." Well, I'm all grown up now, so I can be a little more sophisticated with my fake advetisements. So, you know, "Pelican Cakes" were the first thing that came to my mind. Because really, what's more delicious than cake? Or pelicans? I'm just combining two obvious taste sensations!

This ad was created for my column in last month's issue of Defenestration Magazine www.defenestrationmag.net. Since the new issue just went up, I thought I'd post this here now, because I really like it. Perhaps I'll do more fake ads like this in the future.
